The ASSIST LED program was retired at the end of 2020. The program's research and publications are archived here. For more information on the new ASSIST program, visit the ASSIST 3D Printing for Lighting Consortium.

The Alliance for Solid-State Illumination Systems and Technologies (ASSIST) was established in 2002 by the Lighting Research Center as a collaboration among researchers, manufacturers, and government organizations. ASSIST’s mission was to enable the broad adoption of solid-state lighting by providing factual information based on applied research and by visualizing future applications.
