Lighting Education Online
Lighting Education Online is an interactive, Internet-based education program for building, design, and facility management professionals who want to learn more about light and lighting. Currently we have three courses available:
- Lighting Terminology
- Lighting Technology
- Residential Lighting
Taken together, these courses, plus new courses to be added over time, make up a comprehensive professional education program in lighting.
Tuition costs
Tuition for the Lighting Technology course of the Lighting Education Online Program is $125 for the general public. Members of our Partners program can take the course for a reduced rate of $100 per course. Because the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) generously provided funding to develop this program, New York State residents can take the course for only $25.
Tuition for the Residential Lighting course of the Lighting Education Online Program is $70 for the general public. Members of our Partners program can take the course for a reduced rate of $50 per course and New York State residents can take the course for $25.
