Narendran Comments on Blue LED Nobel Prize: BBC World News

Dr. N. Narendran, director of research and head of the solid-state lighting program at the LRC, was interviewed by BBC World News on October 8, 2014, regarding the Nobel Prize in physics given to the inventors of the blue LED. For more on the LRC's role in the development of white LEDs, take a look back at some of the original pioneering work on nitride-based LEDs conducted jointly by the LRC with UC Santa Barbara from 2002-2005.
