Entryway

Accenting a piece of artwork with a halogen spotlight or floodlight is using the source for what it does best. Here, low voltage halogen mirror projector fixtures outline the trees in the mural. Looking from the entry to the dining room can you tell which chandelier uses compact fluorescents? The entry uses 15 watt incandescent bulbs while the dining room uses 14 watt CFLs. The dining room light bulbs will last 10x longer and use one quarter of the energy of those in the entry.
