Product Testing

Performance Testing of Lighting Technologies

NLPIPThe National Lighting Product Information Program (NLPIP) provides objective test results on many lighting products. The program helps lighting professionals, contractors, designers, building managers, homeowners, and other consumers find and effectively use efficient, quality products that meet their lighting needs. With the support of government agencies, public benefit organizations, and electric utilities, NLPIP disseminates objective, accurate, timely, manufacturer-specific information about energy-efficient lighting products.

PEARL (Program for the Evaluation and Analysis of Residential Lighting)

Backed by organizations including the National Resource Defense Council, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Energy, and the Consortium for Energy Efficiency, PEARL's testing program focuses on ENERGY STAR lighting products and covers both fixtures and lamps.
