In Latham, NY, AngioDynamics, a leader in innovative medical devices, sought to reinforce its dynamic, high-tech image at its headquarters. Building developer, First Columbia LLC, engaged LRC DesignWorks to design façade lighting that would mark AngioDynamics' presence overlooking Interstate 87, locally known as 'the Northway,' through a sustainable, energy-efficient lighting solution.
The result included an asymmetry of crisp, white light contrasting with vibrant red to create a sense of strength and clarity.
The building achieved LEED silver certification for both Commercial Interiors and Core and Shell green building rating system categories.
